Synopsis
On a wooded hillside in the Morvan region, in the whitish light of late winter, Elwann lives with other children in virtual self-sufficiency in the forest. Their huts resemble rafts, suspended from a sea of foliage by an ingenious system of ropes. The children literally hang on for dear life to fight the logging operations that threaten the forest. But with the cold, the loggers' machines and the forces of law and order, Elwann can feel it: the noose is tightening around them and their siege is coming to an end.
