Synopsis
There are two towns with the name “Roubaix” : Roubaix in the North of France and Roubaix in the Middle-West in the United States. Two cities of dissimilar appearance but linked by the destiny of the son of a well-known family, Pierre Wibaux, who left his hometown in 1883 to achieve the American dream. His exceptional success is engraved on the map of the United States by a city and a County which bear his name, Wibaux. A film shot on the roads of Montana and Dakota, within a long-lasting time, exploring family and collective memories. A film combining landscapes, fallen myths, history, and intimate journey.
