Hacia la luz
Synopsis
In Fuenlabrada, in the southern suburbs of Madrid, Alberto Lamelas is a taxi driver by night and a bullfighter by day. When asked by passengers, he never admits the origin of the scar on his face. Four years earlier, his cheek was pierced by the horn of a Miura bull. The subject of bullfighting is divisive, and Alberto prefers not to mention it. He cannot afford to lose clients. But in his head, Alberto Lamelas has no doubt, he is a bullfighter. However, it is his taxi that allows him to earn a living.

Sixteen-year-old Diane exists exclusively through her mother's gaze. But this intensely close bond between Diane and her mother, Sophie, is becoming increasingly problematic for the teenager. At high school, she would like to be loved like she is at home and expresses it in an awkward way like when she exchanges a favor for a look, in the toilets. A loudmouth, provocative, and seeking attention, Diane tries to stand apart from her mother and wishes, during a weekend, to live like an adult.
