Synopsis
Alain Le Quernec is one of France's greatest poster artists. Light years away from the discourse of advertising, his images are irate visual protestations against the excesses of society, or playful and poetic windows onto the world. For the past fifty years, his posters have accompanied the cultural life and political battles of Brittany and beyond. Through an exploration of the stories behind Le Quernec's posters, the film paints a portrait of an independent and provocative artist who has placed his talent at the service of humanity and the social struggles of his time.
