The Good Old Days
Synopsis
When I make up my mind to interview my father about his past, he has just been diagnosed with a severe stage of Alzheimer. I decide to travel to his hometown to seek for his memories. A journey among childhood friends or relatives who remained in the country. In Bayel village, a collective remembrance is uncovered, a rural community weakened by delocalization, people who dwell on a fantasy past. As my father’s memory slowly disappear, it is a whole era that fades away.
