Synopsis
Threatened by the onset of blindness, filmmaker Manuel von Stürler launches into an investigation of the meaning of visual perception. His rage to see feeds a journey of initiation that delves into the world of sight, and tries to answer the question: what does it mean to see? This meditation, both scientific and poetic, enables the narrator to understand that every person – whatever optical perception they have – experiences their own field of vision, and that the singularity of their vision is also an intrinsic part of their own freedom.
