Synopsis
In 2014, the Moroccan Ministry of Justice identified 5,750 cases of pedophile acts across the nation. According to associations fighting against this scourge, the actual number of cases could be four times that number. Since the ratification of the International Convention on the Rights of the Child in 1993, Morocco has made undeniable progress in this situation, but further improvements need to be made.
