Ricardo Cavallo or the Dream of the Sparrow Hawk

Ricardo Cavallo or the Dream of the Sparrow Hawk

A Short film by Isabelle Rèbre

Produced by À Perte de Vue

Production year : 2013

The painter Ricardo Cavallo, an Argentinian exiled in France, settled himself down in the Finisterre where he surrounded himself with pupils. Whatever the colour of the sky, Cavallo plants his easel in a sort of end of the world in front of the ocean or at feet of the Morlaix viaduct. And if, through these landscapes, he was tring to find known lines, from a buried past? Maybe that all these decorations, these landscapes, are there only to hide the face which is in the center of his cathedral.
