Synopsis
One of his friends having suddenly undertaken to build a house alone, the narrator attends the advance of the building. But now, left to paint the portrait of an autobuilder, he feels gradually the project changing without him knowing. Would he also be autocontructing?

Sixteen-year-old Diane exists exclusively through her mother's gaze. But this intensely close bond between Diane and her mother, Sophie, is becoming increasingly problematic for the teenager.
