Synopsis
Delphine is fifteen. Her life is completely empty. And then, suddenly, it seems completely full: she has a lover (Laurent), a friend (Olivia) and everything that goes with them—sex, music, the impression of no longer being alone, of constantly moving ahead, of existing. But hanging out with this "bad crowd" leads Delphine into the throes of passion as she discovers that, at age fifteen, she'll do anything for love

About
Right from the start, I decided to handle this tale not as a human interest story but as an unusual love story, far from sociological considerations. My style tends to be realistic, but I seek to reveal the way my characters shatter the reality that oppresses them. The film is an evil fairy tale. It attempts to incorporate, in a very modern and contemporary context, the eternal themes associated with dark Romanticism. I wanted to depict the passion experienced by characters between the ages of 15 and 17, a period when everything is intensified, when teenagers display a taste for the absolute and a thirst for the eternal. The theme that runs throughout my films is the spirit of adolescence. I was able to make this film not as an adult looking back on that period but as someone on an equal footing with my characters and actors.
