Two friends have clashing points of view. Alexandre is revolted by the idea that high school kills creativity, making students into prototypical adults, over-cautious and stuffes shirts. Their future is mapped out for them in an inescapable routine. He wants to help them conceive of their life as a work of art and help to teach them to better themselves. Hippolyte has a different vision. For him the aim of education is to turn out well-adpated adolescents who can assume a place in society. It is not about quenching thir thirst for freedom, especially during a social crisis. His ideas of schools are generous and egalitarian and he is concerned with student’s immediate needs : passing the graduation exam in June. Both views have their merits…

About
Alexandre Jardin is a generous, crazy guy who drives you nuts. He leads you into this incredible world, without an ounce of negativity. He’s like a ray of sunshine. Along with Besson, he’s one of the people I’d always wanted to meet. He’s a kind of hurricane, living life at 120 miles per hour. With “Le Prof” he wanted to give people a gentle shake, make them wonder about their lives, see if it matched what they’d imagined. It’s good to get a little shove every now and to spur you on.
Hélène de Fougerolles, Actress.
