    About

I want to tell the story ofthousands of Algerian immigrants who came to France in 1950s. Most of them were looking for work and were "housed" in shantytown. I feel that it is important to remember these men whom History has forgotten. Despite the hard conditions, living in a "no-mans land" on the fringe of the largestFrench cities, these people held onto their traditions and culture in order to preserve their identity.
