Synopsis

In Autumn 1985, following the accidental death of his mother, Didier, a 16 year old teenager, comes back to live with his father, Laurent, a Canadian Vietnam War veteran. This is the start of a long and perilous search for love and tenderness between a father and his son that war and its consequences parted brutally twelve years earlier.

Subject

"A pleasant little film on the relationship between a father and his son that is both tender and cruel. With, in the role of the young boy, Gérald Thomassin, César for Most Promising Actor in 1991 for his performances as the teenage kidnapper in Jacques Doillon's "Le Petit criminel"."
