Synopsis Urged on by his wife Corine, who gave up her acting career to foster that of her husband, Gérard Bréha, a journalist from Brittany Television, has just been recruited by the top commercial channel T.V. 8 to present its late evening news. While Corine cheerfully copes with the chores of running a family at the house of her mother Jany, a fun-loving sixty-year-old with a bundle of admirers, Gérard gets swept up in the spiral of events at T.V. 8. Backed up by Marie-Ange de la Baume, his news department chief and soon his lover, Gérard gets his lucky break when the star prime-time news presenter, Philippe Vernon, is hurt in an accident.
