Edouard Deluc receives his diploma from the Beaux-Arts in 1993. In 1997, he shoots his first short, Petits Enfers, starring Vincent Elbaz. In 1999, he begins making video clips, collaborating with musicians such as Louise Attaque, Tété, Mickey 3D, Kid Loco and Jean-Louis Murat. A second short in 2002, Je n'ai jamais tué personne, starring Jean-Jacques Vanier and Elina Löwenshon, travels to several festivals and is broadcast on France 2. Since 2004, Edouard Deluc has regularly shot commercials for prestigious brands. In 2009, He directs his third short, ¿Dónde está Kim Basinger?, starring Philippe Rebbot and Yvon Martin. Grand Prix at the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival, it makes the rounds of festivals across the world (Tokyo, Melbourne, Palm Springs, Edinburgh, Mexico…), racking up scores of prizes. Broadcast on Canal+ and nominated for a César in 2010, it proves a smash hit at the 2010 Lutins Short Film Festival, with Best Actor Award for Philippe Rebbot, as well as Best Filmscript Prize, Best Director Prize, and Best Film of the Year Prize. Edouard Deluc is currently writing his first feature film.
