Biography

Jean-Louis Milesi started out in the movie business by doing odd jobs on music videos, commercials and short and feature films. He went on to make six short films and became an editor. Then his screenwriting career began for the TF1 television channel. He met Robert Guédiguian, with whom he co-wrote the script and dialogue for several of Guédiguian's films. He also wrote scripts with Didier Haudepin and Patrick Chesnais, among others, and adapted Patrick Raynal's thriller novel "Né de fils inconnu" for Frank Le Wita. "Nag la bombe," his first feature film as writer and director, stars Ariane Ascaride, Vincent Elbaz, Roissy de Palma, Julie Gayet, Johan Leysen and Adriana Asti.
