The 59th Cannes Film Festival has unveiled its Official Selection. From May 17 through 28, 14 French feature-length productions and co-productions will be presented in the various festival categories including the Competition, Out-of-Competition, and the Un Certain Regard sections.

The closing film of this 59th Cannes Film Festival will be "Transylvania" by Tony Gatlif.
The Jury, led by the Chinese director Wong Kar Wai, will include Monica Bellucci, Helena Bonham Carter, Lucrecia Martel, Zhang Ziyi, Samuel L. Jackson, Patrice Leconte, Tim Roth, and Elia Suleiman. Films selected for the Directors' Fortnight and Critics' Week will be announced in the upcoming days.
