The 4th edition of this festival presents 14 French film premieres, including 6 titles in preview screenings held in association with local distributors.
The 4th French Film Season is being held this year from September 20 through December 13 at the Zita Cinema in Stockholm (with screenings on Tuesday evenings) and from September 26 through December 12 at the Grand Teatret in Copenhagen (with screenings on Monday evenings).

October 11: "Caché" ("Hidden") by Michael Haneke (to be released October 14 by Triangel)
October 18: "L’Enfant" ("The Child") by Luc and Jean-Pierre Dardenne (to be released December 16 by Folkets Bio)
October 25: "L’Esquive" by Abdellatif Kechiche
November 1: "Crustacés et coquillages" ("Mariscos Beach") by Jacques Martineau and Olivier Ducastel
November 8: "Le Promeneur du Champ de Mars" by Robert Guédiguian
November 15: "36, Quai des Orfèvres" by Olivier Marchal (Scandinavian distributor: Nordisk)
November 22: The Stockholm International Film Festival

Offered comprehensive coverage by the Swedish and Danish media, last year's French Film Season boasted packed houses at Stockholm's Zita Cinema, and attracted large audiences at Copenhagen's Grand Teatret, thus enabling films not previously released to secure a distributor in Scandinavia.
An event initiated by the French Embassy in Sweden, the French Film Season is organized in collaboration with the French Embassy in Denmark, and in association with TV5, Unifrance, and Air France.
