The thirteenth Rendez-vous - Nuovo cinema francese, the festival organized by the Ambassade de France in Italy and organized by the Institut Français in partnership with Unifrance, will take place from March 29 to April 3, 2023, in the presence of many guests, and once again in the mythical place that is the Nuovo Sacher, Nanni Moretti's movie theater.
The festival will also travel to Bologna, Turin, Palermo, and Naples.
The 2023 edition's program will feature 16 recent French films, accompanied by an artistic delegation who will attend screenings and interact with audiences.

Opening night gala
The Crime Is Mine by François Ozon will open the Rendez-vous, in the presence of the director and actresses Rebecca Marder and Nadia Tereszkiewicz.The screening will be followed by a gala evening in the sumptuous setting of the Palazzo Farnese, headquarters of the Ambassade de France in Italy. Many Italian and French professionals will be present on this occasion.
Guest of honor: Isabelle Huppert
The actress will be accompanied by director Jean-Paul Salomé et du compositeur de la musique du film Bruno Coulais (thanks to the support of the Sacem) to present The Sitting Duck, which had its world premiere at the last Venice Film Festival .
Alice Winocour Focus
A focus will be dedicated to Alice Winocour with the presentation of her latest film Paris Memories and her second feature Disorder, which will receive a special screening.

As part of the professional component of the Rendez-vous, Unifrance, in partnership with Cinecittà Studios and the Ass.For.SEO consortium, will propose a Franco-Italian meeting at the Palazzo Farnese/Ambassade de France.
10 French producers and 9 Italian professionals will be present to participate in two discussion sessions, one focusing on the situation of distribution and exhibition in Italy, the other on the production environment in Italy and France, after the specific presentation of the co-production Disco Boy.
