The Sheffield DocFest, which begins today, June 4, and will be held in a hybrid version until June 13, offers a program of 78 feature films and 88 short films, including 55 world premieres. With 17 French productions or coproductions, France has a high profile this year.
The festival, known for its quality and challenging programming, as well as for its flagship event, the MeetMarket, will also welcome several international delegations, including a French delegation supported by Unifrance.
Following a call for applications from its member producers, UniFrance is pleased to accompany 18 production companies and their projects to Sheffield DocFest this year, giving them access to a vast network of international professionals and, we hope, as many opportunities for collaboration!
