Actors Alexis Manenti and Djebril Zonga made the trip to Prague to present a premiere screening of Les Misérables, while the Czech website Totalfilm.cz quoted a statement by the film's director Ladj Ly:
"My film depicts the relationship between police officers and the local residents of my neighborhood in a suburb on the fringes of Paris. The only enemy they share is misery. That's why I share this award [from Cannes] with all those who live in misery in France.”

Proxima embarked on its international run in French-speaking Switzerland, where it received an enthusiastic welcome from the press: Le Temps in Geneva highlighted the film's "undeniable feminist dimension," with Alice Winocour stating: "I find it very moving to see these women who have battled to remain as women in space."

On a Magical Night has screened in Canada thanks to the Cinemania festival, where it created something of a sensation, earning unanimous praise from the Canadian media:
