That's the number of French feature films screened last weekend to packed houses at the New York International Children's Film Festival. It's all happening at the SVA Theater located on 23rd Street, where audiences on the weekend saw March of the Penguins 2 - The Call, White Fang, Zombillenium, Belle and Sebastian, Friends for Life, and Big Bad Fox & Other Tales (screened in the presence of the film's director Benjamin Renner), with some titles presented in their original French version with subtitles. 13 French shorts, including 12 animated films, are also on the program for this major New York festival, which runs for almost one month with public screenings held on weekends and screenings in schools held during the week.
