On Thursday, June 22, Unifrance deputy director Frédéric Bereyziat, accompanied by the filmmakers Arthur De Pins and Alexis Ducord, presented a selection of French film trailers at the 21st CineEurope, the European Exhibitors' Convention currently being held this week in Barcelona.
This is the fourth year running that UniFrance has participated in CineEurope, offering a collection of trailers for French productions shown together at one screening. Frédéric Bereyziat led the presentation, accompanied by Arthur de Pins and Alexis Ducord, who introduced their animated film Zombillenium to exhibiters from across the continent.
In addition to this, Bereyziat also presented 14 other trailers and promo reels: Mutafukaz, The Jungle Bunch (The Movie), Big Bad Fox & Other Tales, Happy End, BPM (Beats Per Minute), Faces, Places, Ismael's Ghosts, Amant double, Rodin, Redoubtable, Gauguin, See You Up There, K.O., and Incident in a Ghostland.
In a new development this year, Europe Creative-MEDIA has decided to join forces with UniFrance to present a lineup of commercially promising European films that are scheduled for release in countries across Europe in the coming months. Following the same market principles as maintained by UniFrance in its selection, the trailers of the following films have been shown to exhibitors: The Square (2017 Palme d'Or winner), Fortunata, Insyriated, Lean on Pete, Return to Montauk, Ethel et Ernest, In the Fade, and Loving Van Gogh.
