The 14th French Film Panorama in China will open on April 15, a regular meeting in the Chinese capital organized by UniFrance within the BJIFF.
A parallel section of the Beijing International Film Festival entirely dedicated to French cinema, the French Film Panorama in China will be the occasion to see 13 recent French films, along with a heritage title, in the presence of Dany Boon, who will present R.A.I.D. Special Unit at the Opening Night on April 15. (In the photo below, Dany Boon during the presentation of Supercondriac at the 2014 Panorama in Beijing.)
Apart from Frédérique Bredin, Raphaël Keller, and Françoise Pams from the CNC, and Mathieu Debusschere, CEO of ARP, producers Benoît Quainon & Sylvie Pialat (Les films du Worso), Charles Gillibert (CG Cinéma, Yann Zenou (Quad Films), and Frédéric Jouve (Les Films Velvet) will also be present.
A part of the selection will then travel until the end of June to six Chinese cities: Chengdu, Xi’an, Wuhan, Jinan, Canton, and Hangzhou.
