Yesterday, on March 1, 2017, the 22nd Rendez-Vous with French Cinema in New York was officially opened in the presence of Étienne Comar, Cécile de France, and Reda Kateb, who traveled to the event to present the opening film, Django, at Lincoln Center's Walter Reade Theater. Also in attendance were the filmmakers Katell Quillévéré, Emmanuelle Bercot, Nicole Garcia, François Ozon, and Rebecca Zlotowski, who will show their films to New York audiences in the coming days, as well as Agnès Varda, who currently has an exhibition at the Blum & Poe art gallery.
