The 2015 City of Lights, City of Angels (ColCoa) Film Festival closed its doors on April 28. This festival, which places the spotlight each year on French cinema, is open to the public, this year attracting 21,000 moviegoers to the theaters of the Directors' Guild of America in Hollywood.
The event showcased 34 feature films (in the Competition, Retrospectives, and Repertoire Films sections), 20 short films, and 7 TV films or series.
The Audience Prize went to Un peu, beaucoup aveuglément de Clovis Cornillac (world premiere screening), while Le Dernier Coup de marteau (photo) was unanimously acclaimed by Los Angeles critics, who honored the film with their LAFCA Critics' Awards.
