Synopsis
A French remake of the British drama Broadchurch, set in Corsica.
Malaterra. For those who live there, this village is a haven of peace, a refuge.
Until a child’s death occurs. This close-knit community, where everyone thought they could trust one another, begins to crumble. Who killed little Nathan? And why?... Gendarmerie Captain Thomas Rotman is an outsider on the Isle of Beauty. It falls to him to carry out the difficult task of finding the culprit. He is convinced that the killer is hiding among the residents of Malaterra, unlike his colleague, Chief Warrant Officer Karine Marchetti, who refuses to believe that evil could come from the village where she grew up. With each passing day, the soul of this village and everyone’s lives are destroyed a little more. Finding the culprit quickly is the only way to save what can be saved.
