Synopsis
Three pals from the projects arrive in Los Angeles in search of their childhood friend, Jimmy, whom they have not heard from in seven years. Jimmy, holed up in a Hollywood motel to write, is slowly consumed by the pursuit of his dreams of fame.

Sixteen-year-old Diane exists exclusively through her mother's gaze. But this intensely close bond between Diane and her mother, Sophie, is becoming increasingly problematic for the teenager.
