Synopsis
Arrested in 1849 for his political ideas, the young Fyodor Dostoevsky narrowly escaped execution before being sent to a penal colony in Siberia. From this traumatic and formative experience, the writer saw his vocation as a necessary death to himself and his illusions. It marked a turning point in his life and work, profoundly transforming his view of the world and humanity. From then on, Dostoevsky explored the depths of the human soul in search of redemption through love. Dostoevsky, the Embodiment of Romanticism, is a deep dive into the turbulent life and incandescent work of one of the most fascinating geniuses in world literature.
