Synopsis
In Valerande-les-Chantelles, a village in Auvergne, the arrival of a doctor in the middle of a medical desert marks a turning point for a neglected area whose inhabitants are gradually leaving. But the young, ambitious Parisian graduate is forced to share the surgery with the local vet, a native of the area who recently returned after a career in the city and a divorce. Working alongside him, she discovers the harsh reality of a forgotten France.
