Climate change caused by human action is a certainty. Yet, despite this scientific fact, it is still common to hear people relativizing it or looking for others to blame. According to one study, by 2023, 1 in 4 French people will be climate sceptics or deniers. Whether conspiracy theorists, scientists or lobbyists, doubt merchants are working all over the world to divert attention. Denialists spread a multitude of preconceived ideas about the climate.
