Synopsis
Famous for playing onnagata (female roles), Daigorô Tachibana is a star of taishû engeki. A distant cousin of kabuki, this popular travelling theater is, however, a genre less recognized in Japan. "Floating Weed" is a dive into the daily life of an actor who lives totally for his art, performing constantly, both on stage and in life.
