Synopsis
Paris, 1871. In a luxury brothel, three women struggle to escape the servitude imposed by men.
The very young Rose arrives in Paris searching for her mother, a former prostitute. She is trapped by a procurer and forcibly recruited into Le Paradis.
Véra, at thirty-five, knows her career as a prostitute is nearing its end. She is betting everything on Baron Du Plessis, her main client and the only one who can buy out her debt.
Hortense is the mistress of Le Paradis. She must keep her girls in line while resisting pressure from a thug from the outskirts, who is demanding money from her.
