Synopsis
The documentary series The Outreau Case : An Unauthorized Investigation traces one of France's greatest judicial tragedies. In the early 2000s, in northern France, the young Judge Burgaud is assigned to investigate accusations of pedophilia within a family. But the case becomes increasingly complex as the investigation progresses, when other local residents also appear to be involved. Between accusations and counter-accusations, the judicial machine begins to churn.
