Kumva - Which Comes From Silence
Synopsis
They were children at the time of the 1994 Tutsi genocide in Rwanda. Now in their thirties, they struggle with childhood memories of desolation and violence. To bear the weight of the past and think about the future, you have to free up your voice. Kumva tells of the need to build a memory of one's own in order to give flesh to the dead and build a bridge between the past and the present.
