Synopsis
Brando takes place in a stone quarry. Samy half-heartedly works there. He's a robust man, rather unhappy and silent, but secretly searching for the absolute. However, Samy is confronted with experiences of completion: the end of the quarry's activity, the end of a relationship that he would have liked to last forever, the end of the life of a hiker lost in the mountains. These experiences knock him down while giving birth to slow contemplations, ecstatic visions, and desires of infinity that constantly break on the reef of the temporary and material reality of things.
