Synopsis
In Mezos, in the Landes region, a recycling center has been attracting visitors for 16 years. It operates purely from donations, which allows to give work to a dozen employees, and for a whole town to avoid waste. How has this utopia fonctioned for so long? Settled in this bric-a-brac for the winter, I listened to the stories of the staff, donors, and objects, and I set out to discover an off-kilter portrait of this precarious France running on empty, in which people invent and resist despite everything.
