Synopsis
Anouk, an outgoing actress with a strong personality who has not earned the success she feels she deserves, and Sima, a quiet, hard-working student who is a devout Muslim, live across the hall from one another but have nothing in common. Except that they're both huge fans of the pop star Beanie Sparks.

Sixteen-year-old Diane exists exclusively through her mother's gaze. But this intensely close bond between Diane and her mother, Sophie, is becoming increasingly problematic for the teenager.
