Synopsis
A young man wants to understand war so as to understand the destiny of his people and to earn his right to freedom.
The film tells the story of Rokas, a young Lithuanian who has never experienced war, although he grew up in its shadow. On a humanitarian aid convoy, from Lithuania to Ukraine, he encounters two journalists, a man and a woman. It is the beginning of a journey of discovery and sacrifice for all three. Their desire to always go further leads them to the frontline of war. In the ruins of human hatred, they must face up to themselves.
