Synopsis
Just over six hundred kilometers off the coast of Africa, Madeira rises out of the ocean. It's the summit of a huge, ancient volcano. We discover the coast like explorers, penetrating the primary forest and crossing its millions of colors in the hollows of valleys bathed in magical light. On the other side, men work the land. They try to exploit its richness. They are caught up in matter and the wind gradually erases them.
