Synopsis
In France, schools are required by law to educate children until they are 16 years old, whether they are French or not, and whether they legally have a right to be in the country or not. For many migrant teenagers, tossed about from one continent to another, school represents a hope for stabilization and intergration.
From a school yard's benches, filmmaker Xavier de Lauzanne observes Aboubacar, Dalel, Hamza, and Thierno as they start out on this educational adventure.
