Synopsis
Three hundred years after the Flood, three clans are tearing apart : - Jacob the breeder ans his sons' clan - The nomadic hunters led by Esaü - The settled farmers whose chief is Harmor. Esaü, the hunter entertains a mortal hate towards Jacob, his younger brother, since he has stolen his law for primogeniture... Cloistered in his camp, Jacob is mourning his presumed dead son Joseph... Sichem, Hamor's son, kidnaps Dina, Jacob's daughter... THe Humanity of the origines is in ferment of all that is nowadays still providing the most persistent hates... But between the revenges to get and the dubious desire to forgive, occurs the meeting with God.
