Synopsis
In Cornouaille, Brittany, hemmed by the ocean, Martin gets by doing odd jobs and the occasional robbery. He's recently started going out with Gwen, an independent woman and dedicated swimmer who trains every day in high seas, no matter the weather. When Gwen tells Martin she's pregnant and that she wants to keep the baby, fear sends him running. His sister, Corinne, is having trouble getting Jean, her husband who's focused on professional problems, to accept the arrival of their third child.
While Martin and Jean jump the rails, Gwen and Corinne must cope alone and try to keep things on an even keel - until the day Martin is charged with murder.
