Synopsis
Following the death of anelderly mullah, an Iranian family set off on a journey to attend the funeral of the old man. A city where is practised an original and little-known custom permitted under Isalmic law: the temporary marriage. A relationship develops between the young and passionate Kazem, himself already engaged to another, and his sister-in-law, the widow Mariam. In a society that all the constraints weigh on the individual aspirations, Kazem and Mariam go for an adventure of their desire.
