Synopsis
A couple settles in to an artist's studio in Montmartre. While Fred gets used to it quickly, Melanie feels uncomfortable. She hears noises, whispering. She is dubious about the neighbors with whom gets on well. One of them claims to have already met Melanie and seems to be spying on her. Fred goes away for a few days. Melanie remains behind alone in the studio. One night, she glimpses the studio's former inhabitants, in particular, the painter Roger Gabesque.
