Synopsis
The tower-block suburbs at night.
In a small police precinct, Emilie Carange, a frustrated police lieutenant, encounters Jamil Messaouden, a young, unorthodox trainee and is smitten by him.
A little North African grandmother says she’s witnessed a big drug deal.
Viard, the vice squad cop, who’ll spend a long time hunting them down, has his “head and his heart elsewhere”.
The team finds itself on a case beyond their capabilities. The more the nights pass by, the more Emilie’s desire for Jamil deepens. The drug case skids off the rails, so does Emilie.
