Synopsis
An unauthorized autobiography, a tribute to France’s greatest actor. From 1967 until today, Jacques Chirac has been on television daily: millions of hours of robotic gestures, of clipped diction, of frenzied cavalcades. What if, at the moment of stocktaking, Jacques Chirac decided to reveal all and reestablish the truth? This is the gamble of “Dans la peau de Jacques Chirac” in which Karl Zéro and Michel Royer revisit the best moments of the “Chirac gesture” from forty years of archives. It’s the President himself who vindicates the meaning of this desperate quest for power… when reality is stranger than fiction!
