Synopsis
The Mauritanian singer Malouma Mint Meidah is the heiress of a dynasty of griots. Breaking with tradition, Malouma took a stand, through her songs, in favor of education and women. The issues she addressed in her music led to her being banned from performing in her own country. After having sung on major international stages, Malouma performs, for the first time in ten years, a concert tour in Mauritania. The opportunity for us to discover the personality of this talented singer, her music, her struggles, and her country.

Sixteen-year-old Diane exists exclusively through her mother's gaze. But this intensely close bond between Diane and her mother, Sophie, is becoming increasingly problematic for the teenager. At high school, she would like to be loved like she is at home and expresses it in an awkward way like when she exchanges a favor for a look, in the toilets.
