Olivier is vacationing in Corsica, in the mountain village where he was born, with his partner Marianne, who is three months' pregnant.
It’s a peaceful vacation – until the day that Olivier becomes the only witness to a murder. Half-Corsican, half-mainlander, Olivier is afraid: should he abide by the island’s traditional law of silence, thereby becoming an accomplice to the crime, or denounce an acquaintance at the risk of being excluded by the community? He decides to keep quiet, but for how long?
