Synopsis
“There’s a town, to the north of the Black Sea, called Odessa. Who knows why, but this name seems to belong to a tale whose sentences, endlessly repeated by a few grandmothers, still resonate in the ears of adults. Once upon a time, long, long ago…”
Through the stories of different characters who take us to Odessa, New York and Israel, the film evokes the exile and wandering of a particular community: the Jews of Odessa.
